This tour should open doors for some very cool on-stage collaborations between the two metal giants. After seeing the chemistry in the studio, frontman Michael Poulsen asked Rob to join the band. Upon his amicable departure from the band, Caggiano began working Volbeat on their new album as a producer. Current Volbeat guitarist Rob Caggiano played guitar for Anthrax from 13. Volbeat and Anthrax share another special and interesting bond. Tomorrow, Crobot will unleash their debut studio LP Something Supernatural, which is a cornerstone of our 2014 Fall Album Preview. In an exclusive interview this past spring, Volbeat’s Michael Poulsen told us the band has been working on new material and tentatively plans to drop a new album some time next year. Anthrax debuted a snippet of a new song at Knotfest, hinting at the fact that they are working on new music.

The trek kicks off at the 1STBANK Center in Denver Colorado on Apand wraps up on at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Volb eat and Anthrax have announced a 2015 North American Tour with very special guests Crobot.
